About the Update
There's always a mixed reaction when a major update to macOS releases, and we're always keeping our eye out for problems that might arise during an update like this. It's safe to assume you're reading this page because you are either interested in updating from your current version of Mac OS X/macOS to the latest macOS 10.14. That, or you've already done it, and want to check with us before you brave the act of trying to open your software again! In either case, let's first see what the update is all about. We aren't going to be discussing that here, but if you want to check out the changes, here's the list of what's changing in macOS 10.14 Mojave:

Before You Update
One of the several questions we get leading up to and after the release of a new OS, is: "What do I do first?!". When considering an update to your Operating System, you should always check for compatibility with the software that you need the most. If you're using a machine that you use as your production environment, extra caution should be taken prior to updating. Notably, your application data, like presets, login information, and favorites, are of greatest concern. In the interest of saving time and effort hunting stuff down, we're going to list below where you'll find all the files relevant to Studio, if you'd like to make a copy.
User Database Files (presets, login, favorites)

Should I Update My OS?
This is a question we all ask ourselves at some point or another. You can update safely, as we have tested Topaz Studio's latest version, the latest versions of the Topaz plugins, and Topaz A.I. Gigapixel with macOS 10.14, and found it to be working just fine through all of our testing! You will want to make sure you're using the latest version of your software to ensure everything will work. You can download the latest versions of your Topaz Software from the Downloads Page:
After You Update
If you've already updated your operating system before checking this article out, no worries! Here's some guidance you can follow to make sure everything is working correctly after updating macOS.

If you updated to macOS 10.14, and found that Topaz Studio, your Topaz Plugins, or A.I. Gigapixel now crash, simply fail to launch, or just doesn't work the way it's supposed to, the first thing you'll want to do is reinstall. To do this, you only need to visit the Downloads Page, download the installer, and run it. The installer will remove the version of Studio on your computer, then install the latest version, automatically. To get started, head to the Downloads Page.
