DeNoise AI 2.0.0 Does Nothing to My Image on MacOS

Reason 1: You may not have the model on your computer,

Let's go make sure it's actually there,

1. Open a Finder Window

2. Use CMD + SHIFT + G to open the Go To Panel

3. Paste in the path:

~/Library/Application Support/Topaz Labs LLC/Topaz DeNoise AI/tgrc/

4. Your folder should look like this:

If it doesn't look like that, or it is empty, you are missing your model files, so you need to reinstall.

Many users experience issues when they do not install as an admin.

You will need to login as an admin account, and run the installer again as an admin to ensure that your models are getting written to the same place.

Reason 2: If the files are all there, your installer probably did put them in the right place, but they have somehow gotten corrupted. This can happen for example during a system update, or if you upgrade your entire operating system, or restore from a Time Machine snapshot.

In that case, the solution is exactly the same, reinstall.

For best results, reinstall from an admin account.

Reason 3: The program may not have adequate permissions to open the model file to process your image

In this case, the solution is the same. To login and install as an admin.

Topaz is currently looking into how to fix this so that non admin users can use their program and there will be an update when this fix is complete.
